Het Nanavati of Std 10 participated in District level ‘Classical singing’ at Ankleshwar on 22nd August and bagged the first position. He was entitled to participate in Zone level & stood 3rd in Zonal Level competition at Navsari.
SVM School has been taking part in the Olympiads conducted by SOF for the last many years. This year also a record number of above 275 students participated in these exams. We provide a platform to students to participate in 6 Olympiads. The result of GK Olympiad has been declared and we feel elated to share that 6 students have won Gold medals. We conducted Commerce exam for the very 1st time and Parthiv Raj has bagged gold medal in it. IGKO….Gold medal.
The prestigious Vikas Vartul Trust is the only institute in Gujarat continuously working from 1975 till today for life and career development of children, students and unemployed youth. This trust organizes GKIQ test to bring the students abreast with the latest pattern of competitive exams. Our school took the exam with a whooping participation of 256 students. Two students have made it to the Final round.
SVM School introduced the prestigious IAS Juniors exams for the 1st time in the school with the aim to instill competitiveness among school students and assessing students on a nationwide platform. The students get to know about the fundamentals of civil service examination at an early stage of education. We had 25 of our students registered for this exam. Darshi Darji Std 10 secured All India Rank 2. I call on stage the proud parents of Darshi and the student herself for the felicitation. Pratha Rana Std 8 bagged All India Rank 6 in the Final exam.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is an initiative by Rotary International for young people aged between 14 to 30 to develop leadership, character and service skills through workshops, activities & mentorship. This year above 170 students from 24 schools of Bharuch & Ankleshwar participated in the programme. SVM school gave this opportunity to her 7 students who attended two days programme at Nav Chetan school, Valia. Fizuka Ratanpara has bagged 2nd position and will be representing the school in National RYLA programme. Het Nanavati has been selected in top 5 participants & will be representing the school in National RYLA programme. I would request the parents of Het to stay on the stage as he is a winner of Kala Mahakumbh also. Kala Mahakumbh is an initiative by the Government of Gujarat to provide a platform to students to showcase their diverse talent in the realm of creative arts.
