The students created colourful posters & designed creative logos highlighting the bond between a mother and nature. The competition served as a platform to express love for both – Mother Earth and our own mother. The creativity, eco-awareness and heartfelt messages shown in the artworks are commendable. Seed Germination Activity

We organized a ‘Seed Germination’ activity for the kiduzz of Pre-primary children aged 3 to 6 years. This activity was part of the school’s effort to promote Early Childhood Education and followed the guidelines of the early education policy. During the activity, children learned how to plant seeds, water them and take care of a small plant though the main aim was to help them understand the importance of nature and how to care for the environment. This fun and hands-on experience taught them how plants grow, encouraged responsibility and made learning enjoyable through play.

Sugar Awareness Programme

In support of the government’s mission to reduce sugar-related health issues, we organized an Awareness Programme on the harmful effects of Sugar Consumption. The event aimed to educate students, teachers and staff about the harmful effects of excessive sugar intake, particularly among children and adolescents. Creative and informative banners were prepared and displayed around the school. The orientation highlighted the increasing rate of Type 2 diabetes among children due to poor eating habits, especially high consumption of sugary and processed foods. Students were made aware of how much of their daily calories are unknowingly consumed through junk foods and the figures shocked many students and encouraged them to rethink their food choices. This talk helped students understand that salty or spicy fast foods often contain large amounts of sugar and they should make healthier choices, both in school and at home. Our school remains committed to promoting health and wellness through such meaningful initiatives in the future as part of our support for national and global health goals.
