Mehendi Competition

To promote the spirit of culture and skill-based learning, a Mehendi Competition was organized on Wednesday, 9th July 2025. The girls from Std 5 to 12 participated in this competition with great enthusiasm. The event was a vibrant celebration of creativity and traditional art. Participants showcased their talent by applying intricate and beautiful mehendi designs on the hands of their peers. The competition was judged based on design intricacy, creativity and neatness. The event was conducted in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, particularly focusing on the vocational Education component. The event successfully highlighted the importance of skill based learning and empowered the students to take pride in traditional Indian arts.

Prerana Utsav

Prerana: School of experiential learning is a pioneering concept acknowledging the fact that true learning extends beyond textbooks & classrooms. Initiated from the vernacular school in Vadnagar, of which our Prime Minister is an alumnus, the vision of the programme is to Inspire Bharat. Students are encouraged to show their talent in various fields including essay writing, drawing and poem writing. Four students were selected from the school to take part in the District level competition on Wednesday, 9 th July 2025. The students competed with other students who were winners in their respective schools. Parthiv Raj took part in Drawing, Mauli Valand in Poem writing and Sujal Berawala & Fizuka Ratanpara in Essay writing. All four were selected for the Interview round and faced the round confidently & with poise. The results are await.

Elocution Competition

An Elocution Competition was organized in school with great enthusiasm & spirit. The event aimed to enhance the speaking skills and confidence of students and to encourage the art of speaking. Participants from Std 4 to 9 took part in the competition which comprised of four rounds viz Intra class, Quarter final, Semi final & Final. Three topics were given to each class to choose from. Some of the topics were-My favourite cartoon character, A sport event to remember, Importance of a balanced diet, Good civic sense will make responsible citizens, The future of Electric vehicles, What I discovered during lockdown etc After a tough and closely contested Intra class round, the winners from each class were selected for Quarter Final round. The winners of this round moved to Semi finals where they were judged by an esteemed panel of judges namely Dr. Rahul I Mehta, professor at M.K college of Commerce and Dr. Chandresh Parmar, professor at J.P Arts & Science college. With their fair & insightful judgement, they selected students for Finals which saw a neck to neck competition where students were judged in different categories. Students of Std 4 & 5 competed with each other and same with the students of 6 & 7 and 8 & 9. Three students were selected from each category as winners. The judges were all praise for the participants & the winners and guided the students for further such competitions.

Calligraphy Quest

To enhance the handwriting skills and creativity of our students, a Calligraphy Quest was conducted for the students of standard 1, 2 & 3. All the students participated enthusiastically and showcased their beautiful handwriting. The topic for Std 1 was ‘Apple’, for Std 2 ‘My favourite animal’ and for Std 3 ‘Importance of trees’. All the class teachers guided the students with the tips of good handwriting and spacing and the activity boosted confidence in the students to write neatly and beautifully. It was an enjoyable experience for the students.

Colouring competition

"Art is not just about colours, but also about sharing joy and friendship" A fun-filled colouring competition was organized at for the kiduzz of Pre-Primary section on 30th July 2025, where our little artists filled their favourite characters – Doraemon, Dora, and Ninja Hattori. It was heartwarming to see the children showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm, filling each picture with joy, imagination, and remarkable attention so beautifully through art.

Rakhi Making Competition

The Rakhi Making Competition was successfully held at our school on 8th August 2025 with enthusiastic participation from many students. The beautiful rakhis created by the students showcased their creativity, talent, and love for tradition. The event reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing cultural values and holistic development. Two esteemed external judges, Mrs. Madhu Singh and Mrs. Mosam Parekh, were invited to ensure fair judgment. They appreciated the creativity and dedication of the students and encouraged them to continue exploring their artistic talents. Certificates were awarded to the winners. The event was a wonderful celebration of culture, creativity, and student enthusiasm. Heartfelt congratulations to all the participants and winners for their excellent efforts.

Seminar on ‘Career Guidance’

Our school hosted an enlightening ‘Career Guidance’ seminar to help students explore future opportunities. The session was conducted for the students of Std 11 & 12.The resource person was , Mrs. Palak Trivedi, professor SVMIT, Bharuch. She guided the students about various career options after completing Std 12 and provided an overview of higher education streams and emerging career trends especially focusing on the branches the students can opt for in Engineering such as mechanical, chemical computer science & Information technology, explaining their scope, applications and future prospects. The students were keen to learn how each branch contributes to different industries. The session concluded with an interactive question answer round, students asking about career growth and future prospects in these fields.

Janmashtami Celebration

Our school celebrated Janmashtami with great devotion and enthusiasm to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. The school premises were beautifully decorated and the celebration began with a shloka followed by a speech on the significance of the festival. Students presented wonderful dances and skits from the life of Lord Krishna, while the exciting Dahi Handi event added joy to the celebration. In the Pre-Primary section, Kiduzz dressed up as Radha and Krishna and performed Raas Garba and the Krishna cradle ceremony with great excitement. Along with this, Kiduzz also celebrated Independence Day on 14th August 2025 through creative craft activities based on our National Symbols. Students from different classes made beautiful artworks like mango collage, lotus and tiger handprints, peacock palm prints, and banyan tree fingerprints. The celebrations filled the school with happiness, creativity, and patriotic spirit.

Ganesha Idol And Toran Making Competition

To celebrate the festive spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi and to encourage creativity among students, our school organized a Ganpati Idol and Toran Making Competition. The aim of the event was to promote eco-friendly practices while giving students a platform to showcase their artistic talents. Students actively participated in the competition and created beautiful Ganpati idols using eco-friendly material like clay, paper and natural colors. Along with the idols, they also designed decorative torans, reflecting traditional designs and innovative ideas. The enthusiasm, devotion and artistic flair of the participants made the event truly special. The competition not only enhanced students’ skills but also helped them understand the importance of protecting the environment while celebrating festivals. The creativity displayed by the students was highly appreciated by the judges and teachers.Every participant was praised for his/her efforts. The event was a perfect blend of devotion, culture and creativity, leaving everyone with a sense of joy and inspiration.

Navratri Celebration

SVM Higher Secondary School, Bharuch, organized a vibrant Navratri celebration filled with color, culture and tradition. A special Garba dance event was held for students from the pre-primary section up to Standard 12.The entire school participated with great enthusiasm, making the event a grand success. The event was graced by esteemed judges. Our judge, Mrs. Surabhi Tambakuwala, currently serves as the Chairperson of Bharuch Jilla Mahila Bal Vibhag. She is also the past President of Bharuch Nagarpalika. Our second judge, Mrs. Sangita Jha, is an active member of the Rotary Club of Bharuch Femina. The atmosphere during the Garba dance was electrifying and full of festive spirit. Traditional Gujarati music echoed through the school campus as students, dressed in colorful ethnic attire, showcased their talent and devotion through graceful dance moves. The claps, twirls and rhythmic steps brought the true spirit of Navratri alive, creating a joyful and energetic environment. The celebration beautifully reflected the cultural richness of Gujarat and left a lasting impression on everyone present.

Rangoli Competition

Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated in our school with great joy and creativity through various competitions. Students enthusiastically participated in activities such as Diya Decoration (Junior KG), Toran Making (Senior KG), and Wall Hanging Making (BalVatika). The event showcased the artistic talents and festive spirit of the students. Each activity reflected creativity, color, and the rich traditions of Diwali. The competitions were judged by esteemed guests Mrs. Neha Shah from Narayan Vidya Vihar School and Ms. Alpesha Jadav from B.E.S. Union High School. Their appreciation encouraged the students to express their talents confidently. Certificates were awarded to the winners. The celebration truly lit up the school with joy, creativity, and festive spirit.

Children’s Day

Our school celebrated Children’s Day with great joy, creating moments of happiness and fun for the students. Children from the Pre-Primary section and Std. 1, 2, and 3 participated enthusiastically in the celebration. The event began with Mrs. Deepika Gohil, dressed as Chacha Nehru, who shared inspiring stories about his life and love for children. Students then enjoyed fun playground activities like musical chairs and balancing games. They also watched an entertaining children’s movie together. The school was filled with laughter and excitement, creating a lively atmosphere. The celebration ended with a sweet surprise as smiley balls and chocolates were distributed among the children. The day became a truly memorable and joyful experience for all the little ones.

CAREER GUIDANCE SEMINAR

A highly informative Career Guidance Seminar on Commerce was conducted by Mr. Pintu Pastagiya to help students understand various career opportunities in the commerce field. He explained the growing importance of commerce in areas like business, finance, management, and the corporate sector. During the session, he guided students about different career options such as BBA, CMA, CA, and B.Com, explaining their scope and career prospects. He also advised students on choosing the right course based on their interests, strengths, and future goals. Mr. Pastagiya encouraged students to stay focused, develop analytical skills, and work consistently to achieve success. The seminar ended with an interactive Q&A session, where students cleared their doubts. Overall, the session was very informative and helped students gain clarity about their future career paths.

SEMINAR ON CAREER AWARENESS AND OPPORTUNITIES

A highly informative Career Awareness Seminar was conducted by Ms. Anukriti Sharma for students of Std. 10 to 12, with parents also attending the session. She highlighted the importance of communication skills, confidence, leadership, and positive attitude for career success. Ms. Sharma introduced students to various career opportunities in the aviation industry, including Cabin Crew, Ground Staff, Aviation Management, and Commercial Pilot Training. She encouraged students to practice communication through reading, public speaking, and group discussions to build confidence. The seminar concluded with an interactive Q&A session where students cleared their doubts about aviation careers and skill development. Shri Devang Thakore, Director of the school, appreciated the session and motivated students to develop strong communication skills and a positive mindset to achieve success.

Play N Learn

Kids' equipment provides numerous benefits, including improved physical skills like balance and coordination, enhanced creativity and problem-solving abilities and better social skills through interaction and cooperation. It also encouraged outdoor play, which is crucial for physical health and would lead to increased confidence and a more active lifestyle. A competition "Play N Learn" was held on 28th November , Friday, for the KIDUZZ of the Pre-Primary section of SVM School. Different fun games , such as "Identify the colour" and "Collect the same colour balls " were played by the students of the Junior KG class. "Animal sorting " a fine motor skill developing games, were played by the students of Senior KG class. For the students of BalVatika ""Find the picture with same spelling" competition was arranged . An unique learning opportunity was provided for the SVMS KIDUZZ through these Play N Learn activities!

IAS JUNIORS EXAMS 2025

25 students from our school registered for the prestigious IAS Juniors Exams 2025. During the Brain Battle General Knowledge YouTube Live Quiz, around 1000 viewers joined the session and nearly 300 students submitted their answers. We are proud to share that 8 students from our school secured top ranks, bringing pride to both our school and the Bharuch region. This achievement reflects the quality education and excellent guidance provided at our institution. Shehzad Malek secured Rank 1 with 92/100, followed by other outstanding performers including Mrunali M. Vaghela, Saifuddin Kutarvadliwala, Riddhi Viral Joshi, Aarav Vanza, Bhumi Rana, Kartik Kanbi, and Amatullah. Heartiest congratulations to all the toppers for their remarkable performance. We wish them the very best for the upcoming IAS Juniors Exams and their bright future ahead.

Annual Sports Day

Annual Sports Day at SVM School was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all age groups from Junior KG to Std. 12 on 10, 11 & 12 December 2025. The event featured a flawless march-past by the Student Council, setting an inspiring tone!!! The playground echoed with the cheers of students who displayed outstanding sportsmanship, team spirit and determination in every event. Winners were awarded medals in recognition of their hard work and active participation.

Hindi Language Competition

Our school recently organized a competition highlighting the importance of the Hindi language, celebrating its richness and cultural significance. Students from Class 1 to 8 participated enthusiastically in activities such as poetry recitation, story reading, and speech competitions. Each student presented their work with dedication, creativity, and confidence, showcasing their strong command over the language. The event not only encouraged the students to express themselves in Hindi but also deepened their appreciation for their mother tongue. Christmas Celebration

Christmas was joyfully celebrated on 24th December 2025 by the KIDUZZ, the Pre-Primary section of SVM Higher Secondary School, Bharuch. The school campus was beautifully decorated with stars, bells, and Christmas trees, creating a festive atmosphere. The little ones came dressed in red and white, dancing to Christmas carols and participating in fun craft activities like making Christmas trees, Santa faces, and festive danglers. The excitement grew with the arrival of Santa Claus, who distributed chocolates and gifts, bringing smiles and laughter to the children. Students happily interacted with Santa, clicked pictures, and sang carols together. The celebration helped children learn the values of love, sharing, and giving. Students of the Primary and Upper Primary classes also celebrated with great enthusiasm by taking part in creative activities such as card making, drawing, decoration, and craft work. The entire campus was filled with festive cheer, making the celebration joyful and memorable for everyone.

Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram

SVM Higher Secondary School organized a ‘Health Check-Up’ Camp for students from Pre-Primary to Secondary classes to promote early detection and overall well-being. The camp was held on 7th & 8th January 2026, during school hours under the RBSK – "Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram". A medical team from Bharuch Primary Health Centre [PHC] comprising of doctors & nurses conducted the health screening. More than 500 students participated and benefitted, making the initiative a meaningful step toward student health awareness.

Health Check-up

The Interact Club of SVMS Budding Achievers organized a Health Check-Up Camp on 7 January 2026 during school hours to promote early detection, prevention, and the overall well-being of students. The camp was conducted under the Government of India’s Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram. Medical services were provided by Dr. Imtiyaz Chhota and Dr. Maliha Patel (Medical Officers) along with Nurse Sumitra Vasava from Bharuch PHC. The team carried out health screenings and guided students on the importance of maintaining good hygiene and healthy habits. More than 500 students participated and benefitted from this initiative. The camp proved to be a significant step toward spreading health awareness and ensuring the well-being of students.

Kite Making / Decoration Activity

SVM Higher Secondary School conducted a Kite Making and Decoration Activity on 13th January 2026 to celebrate Uttarayan. Students, from Pre-Primary KIDUZZ to higher classes, participated enthusiastically, crafting vibrant kites using paper, thread, and various decorative materials. The school campus was transformed into a colorful spectacle, adorned with kites of different shapes, sizes, and patterns. Special kites, threads, and colorful whistles were gifted to the Pre-Primary KIDUZZ, bringing immense joy and excitement to the little ones. The activity not only encouraged creativity but also fostered teamwork and cultural awareness among students. Teachers guided the students, ensuring that every child could express their artistic ideas. The event highlighted the festive spirit of Uttarayan, allowing students to learn about traditions while having fun. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable celebration that brought smiles and laughter to everyone at the school.

GNFC SCIENCE EXIBITION

Our students showcased their talent and creativity in various workshops and competitions, achieving remarkable success:
1) Vivan Prajapati – 2nd Prize in the Origami Workshop (out of 25 students). He also secured 2nd Prize in the Science Experiment Workshop & Competition.
2)Yashvardhan Sarvaiya and Kunj Patel – Participated in the Science Experiment Workshop & Competition, representing 30 groups (60 students in total) and performed exceptionally well.
3) Sayan Parth Mukherjee – Won 2nd Prize in the Rocketry Workshop & Quiz Competition, which included five groups of eight students each (total 40 students). Heartiest congratulations to all the winners for their dedication, teamwork, and outstanding performance!

BIRD-WATCHING ACTIVITY

A bird watching activity was conducted at SVM Higher Secondary School, Bharuch on Saturday, 21 February 2026, in collaboration with Rescue and Rehab Foundation and Bird Watchers. The event aimed to promote awareness about bird conservation among students. Students actively observed various birds on the school campus, including the owl, Common Koyal, parrot and other local species. An informative seminar on birds was also conducted, where experts explained the importance of birds and ways to protect them. The program was highly engaging and provided a valuable learning experience for all students.

GRANDPARENTS DAY

Grandparents Day was joyfully celebrated at SVM Higher Secondary School, Bharuch for the grandparents of students from Std. 4 to 8, honoring their love, wisdom, and invaluable presence. The program began with a warm welcome, followed by delightful cultural performances by the students. Special games were organized for the grandparents, creating moments of laughter, fun, and bonding, with winners felicitated with attractive prizes. The event also included a prize distribution ceremony for students who excelled in various competitions, applauding their achievements and encouraging them to continue striving for excellence. Holi

The KIDUZZ of the Pre-Primary section of SVM Higher Secondary School, Bharuch celebrated the vibrant festival of Holi on 3rd March 2026 with great joy and enthusiasm. The celebration highlighted the spirit of colors, happiness, and the arrival of spring. The little ones enjoyed sprinkling colourful flower petals and participated in fun activities such as sponge painting with colours, craft making of pichkari, and Holika Dahan palm printing. These creative activities encouraged imagination and festive participation among the children. The dedicated and talented teachers created a lively and colourful atmosphere that made the celebration even more special. The joyful event filled the school with smiles, laughter, and festive cheer, making it a memorable experience for the KIDUZZ.
